China

China ranks first in Asia when it comes to gold holdings. According to CEOworld magazine, the Dragon at 2,263 (gold holding in metric tons).

India

India is in the second list with the gold holding of 854, (gold holding in metric tons).

Japan

Another Asian country with highest gold reserve is Japan. It has 846 metric tons of the yellow metal.

Turkey

Middle Eastern country Turkey has 595 metric tones of gold.

Taiwan

A small country like Taiwan stands in the fifth position with a 423 metric tons of gold reserve.

Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan is in the sixth position with a gold reserve of 374.

Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia, the country known for its wealth, stands in seventh place.

Kazakhstan

This country has secured the eighth position with a gold reserve of 296 metric tons.

Lebanon

Lebanon is in the ninth position with a gold reserve of 287 metric tons.

Thailand

One of the favourite tourist destinations is Thailand, which is in the tenth position.

However, India’s nearest neighbour, Pakistan, stands in the 20th position with a gold reserve of 64.72 metric tons.
