Traders briefed on business opportunities in Indonesia
DODOMA: TRADERS in Dodoma Region have been briefed on the vast business opportunities available in Indonesia, in a meeting aimed at fostering stronger trade relations between the two nations.
The Indonesian Ambassador to Tanzania, Tri Yogo Jatmiko, highlighted these opportunities during a business forum held over the weekend in Dodoma.
“As an ambassador, my responsibility is to establish a conducive framework for business collaboration and to facilitate trade agreements between the two countries. These partnerships will focus on sectors such as agriculture, education, health, pharmaceuticals and hospital development,” said Ambassador Jatmiko.
Speaking on behalf of Dodoma Regional Commissioner, Rosemary Senyamule, Dodoma District Commissioner, Alhaj Jabir Shekimweri urged traders to seize the opportunities outlined by the ambassador and actively explore the different types of trade associated with these partnerships.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Dodoma Regional Business Council, Mr Vivian Komu, expressed gratitude to the government for its continued efforts to support local traders in expanding their businesses to international markets.
He pledged to collaborate with fellow traders in capitalising on the opportunities presented by Indonesia. In addition to the discussions, traders were invited to participate in the 40th Trade Expo Indonesia, an international trade fair that brings together business leaders and entrepreneurs from around the globe.
The engagement is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Tanzania-Indonesia relations and promote international trade for the benefit of local businesses.
