New Delhi. Mahindra & Mahindra registered a good sale in September 2022. The company sold 34,508 units in September 2022. In September 2021, the company had sold only 12,863 units. In this way, the company registered a strong year on year (YoY) growth of 168%.

4th in terms of sales
The domestic SUV maker ranked fourth in terms of overall sales. The market share stood at 9.7 per cent, with an increase of 2.8 per cent as against 2.9 per cent in 2021. With sales of 29,615 units as compared to the previous month of August 2022, MoM sales witnessed a growth of 16.5 per cent and the sales numbers are expected to increase further in the festive season.

scorpio n demand
The brand started the deliveries of the Scorpio N a few days back and its recent launches like the XUV700 and the second generation Thar also see a lot of demand for it. The 5 door model of the Lifestyle off-roader is currently under testing and is widely reported to be launched sometime in the next calendar year.

The XUV400 electric SUV that rivals the Tata Nexon EV also recently made its debut. It is based on the same SsangYong Tivoli’s X100 platform as the XUV300, but is longer and has a bigger bootspace. Customer test drives of the XUV400 will begin in December 2022 and deliveries will begin by the end of January 2023.

The Mahindra XUV400 claims a driving range of 456 km on a single charge and packs a 39.4 kW IP67-rated battery. Some other highlights include three drive modes (Fun, Fast and Fearless), frequency-dependent damping, single pedal technology and 60+ connected features. It has been claimed to achieve 100 kmph from zero in just 8.3 seconds.
