According to government information, 2,594 have been cured in the last 24 hours in India. The recovery rate increased to 4,40,68,557. The recovery rate currently stands at 98.76%.

A total of 89.81 crore COVID-19 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. The country has so far conducted 89.81 crore (89,81,81,387) cumulative tests.

The Health Ministry said that over 13.01 lakh special COVID vaccination camps were conducted during these 75 days.

The COVID-19 vaccination for 12-14 years age group was started on 16 March 2022. So far more than 4.10 crore (4,10,55,105) adolescents have been given the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Similarly, the COVID-19 precaution dose administration for the age group of 18-59 years started on 10 April 2022. Officials said that India registered a total of 1,997 new Kovid cases in the last 24 hours.

India’s active caseload currently stands at 30,362. Active cases now account for 0.07 per cent of the total positive cases in the country.

The weekly positivity rate in the country is currently 1.34 per cent and the daily positivity rate is reported to be 0.94 per cent.

“In the last 24 hours, 3,908 patients have been cured and the cumulative number of recovered patients (since the start of the pandemic) is now 4,40,47,344,” an official statement said.

Immunization coverage over 219.21 crore

India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 219.21 crore (2,19,21,33,244) as of 7 am today, as per the provisional report.

The COVID-19 vaccination for 12-14 years age group was started on March 16, 2022. So far, over 4.11 crore (4,11,19,125) adolescents have been given the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Similarly, the COVID-19 precaution dosage administration for the age group of 18-59 years also started from April 10, 2022.

The weekly positivity rate is currently 1.07%.

“In 75 days, across all states and union territories, 11,104 camps at bus stations, 5,664 camps at railway stations, 511 camps at airports, over 1,50,004 camps in various schools and colleges, 4,451 camps on religious pilgrimage routes have been held. Over 11,30,044 camps were organized at various private and government workplaces and industrial establishments,” the ministry statement read.
