Trending news: Mohammad Siraj and Umran Malik among Team India’s reserve players for T20 World Cup: Report – Hindustan News Hub
New Delhi. The Indian team management has included fast bowlers Umran Malik and Mohammad Siraj as reserve players for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022. This information was given in a report. Jasprit Bumrah is battling a back injury and there are doubts about him playing in the T20 tournament to be held in Australia. The report of the inclusion of Umran and Siraj in the reserve suggests that India will travel to Australia without Bumrah. However, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly told Xtra Time Digital Channel in Kolkata on Friday, “Bumrah is not out of the World Cup yet and a final decision can be taken in the next two or three days.”
Apart from Bumrah, India have specialist fast bowlers like Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, Harshal Patel, while Hardik Pandya plays the all-rounder. India also have two specialist fast bowlers in Deepak Chahar and Avesh Khan who are already included in the reserve players.
