New Delhi. Hyundai Tucson was launched by the company at the end of last year. Due to its excellent features, this car has not got 1 or 2 but a total of 22 awards. These awards have been given to this car by various publications and portals. As a result, the Tucson has now become the most awarded car of the year 2023.

The Tucson SUV has received several awards like ‘Car of the Year’, ‘Editor’s Choice of the Year’, ‘Premium SUV of the Year’ and ‘Best Safety Features of the Year’. The fourth generation model of this car is launched in 2023. The journey of this car in India started in 2005. It replaced the Hyundai Terracan in the Indian market.

Compared to the Terracan, the first gen Hyundai Tucson was smaller but offered a more premium experience inside and out. Hyundai did not launch the second gen Tucson in India. In the new model, Hyundai has also changed the cabin of the Tucson, which now offers the latest layout with several new-age features. This version of the Tucson also became the first product from Hyundai to offer ADAS safety features. The Hyundai Tucson is available in India with two powertrain options: a 2.0-litre petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel.

power output
The 2.0-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine claims 157 PS of maximum power and 192 Nm of maximum torque output. On the other hand, the 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine produces 185 PS of maximum power and maximum torque output of 416 Nm. Both the engine options are available with automatic transmission as standard. While the petrol engine is mated to a 6-speed torque converter, the diesel engine gets an 8-speed automatic transmission.
