Turkmen football has a great future – FIFA expert

Football in Turkmenistan has a great future, FIFA technical expert Svetlana Kashuba said. This was reported by the official website of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan.

As reported earlier, training courses for category “C” coaches have started in Ashgabat. The training program is designed to obtain a license that gives the right to coach children aged 6 to 12. The process is being monitored by FIFA technical experts Svetlana Kashuba and Rovshan Meredov.

“I believe that football in Turkmenistan has a great future. Great success takes time,” Kashuba noted in a conversation with the FFT press service.

According to the expert, who visited Turkmenistan for the first time, she was impressed by the good infrastructure and the presence of large stadiums in the country. “Recently, the development of football in Turkmenistan has been noticeable because experienced specialists work in football management,” she emphasized.

Kashuba advised young Turkmen football players and coaches to love football, not be afraid of difficulties, maintain physical fitness and enjoy the game. “Then success will be on your side,” concluded the FIFA technical expert.
