UK WR Fred Farrier hosts Friday night football camp

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) – UK senior wide receiver Fred Farrier II held his very first Friday Night Showdown Camp at his alma mater, Franklin County High School.

Around sixty boys and girls of all ages came out to be coached by Farrie. amd he had teammates like Ja’Mori Maclin, Zach Calzada, Cutter Boley, and fellow Frankfort-native Javeon Campbell on hand to help coach.

“I have a great platform and I felt like it was a great opportunity to come home and be able to really provide an experience for the youth,” Farrier said. “I remember when I was growing up in the same community, it would have been nice if we had something going on where we had current student-athletes and former Franklin County High School alumni and everybody here at Benny Watkins Field.”

Farrier and the Wildcats will take the field August 2nd for UK’s annual Fan Day.
