ULM, FAU to play football home-and-home series starting in 2026 – Crescent City Sports

MONROE, La. — ULM football has announced a home-and-home series with Florida Atlantic for the 2026 and 2027 seasons. ULM will host the Owls at Malone Stadium on Sept. 26, 2026, before playing at Flagler Credit Union Stadium in Boca Raton, Florida, on Sept. 25, 2027.

The former Sun Belt Conference opponents will meet on the gridiron for the first time since 2012. The Warhawks hold a 7-2 record in the all-time series with the first matchup in 2004. ULM has won the previous four meetings and is 2-2 playing the Owls at Malone Stadium and 5-0 playing FAU in Florida.

ULM has now completed its 2026 non-conference schedule and is set to play on the road at Mississippi State (Sept. 5) and UAB (Sept. 12) before hosting Southeastern Louisiana (Sept. 19) and FAU (Sept. 26).

The Warhawks’ 2025 non-conference slate includes a home game versus Saint Francis (Aug. 28) in the season opener before road contests at Alabama (Sept. 6), UTEP (Sept. 20) and Northwestern (Oct. 4).

ULM and Sam Houston set a home-and-home series for the 2027 and 2028 seasons. The Warhawks are set to play at Texas in 2029, and ULM and Louisiana Tech are set to renew their football rivalry with a home-and-home series in 2030 and 2031.
