UMD alum Lara Stalder nominated for Swiss Hockey’s ‘Woman of the Year’

Lara Stalder, a 2017 University of Minnesota-Duluth women’s hockey alumnus and captain of EV Zug in the PostFinance Women’s League, has been nominated for Swiss Ice Hockey’s 2025 Woman of the Year.

She is one of four players up for the award and has also been nominated for PostFinance League MVP.

Stalder tallied 50 points last season with EVZ, scoring 27 goals and adding 23 assists. She also captained team Switzerland during the IIHF Women’s World Championship.
