UN Commission honours NIESV President for impactful commitment to African women causes
Victor Adekunle Alonge, President of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), has been recognised on the global stage for his unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes.
He was presented with the “Outstanding Humanitarian Award” at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
This prestigious honor was conferred by the United Nations Commission for the Status of Women (UNCSW) in recognition of his “dedication, consistent, and impactful support for African women’s status advancement initiatives.”
This award highlights Alonge’s “leadership and advocacy”in fostering gender equality and empowering women across Africa. His efforts have significantly contributed to initiatives that promote inclusivity, professional development, and economic opportunities for African women.
A statement issued by Richard Olodu national publicity secretary of NIESV said the institute celebrates this well-deserved recognition and remains committed to supporting impactful leadership that drives positive change globally.
