Enterprise AI company Uniphore has closed a $260 million funding round from a mix of investors, including US chip majors Nvidia, AMD, cloud data storage company Snowflake, and data analytics firm Databricks.
The funding round, which valued the Palo Alto-based company at around $2.5 billion, also saw participation from existing investors such as NEA, March Capital, BNF Capital, National Grid Partners, and Prosperity7 Ventures.
“Our Series F raise marks an exciting milestone for Uniphore. It is unlike most fundraises, because, in addition to top-tier financial investors, we are joined by the world’s top AI and data companies,” said Umesh Sachdev, cofounder and CEO, Uniphore.
The Palo Alto, California-headquartered company plans to use the proceeds to accelerate the development and adoption of its Business AI Cloud, an enterprise-grade AI platform built to help large organisations deploy AI agents, automate workflows, and integrate data across systems.
The funding comes as enterprises increasingly look for generative AI and automation solutions that can move beyond pilot projects and integrate deeply into business operations.
The participation of infrastructure giants such as Nvidia and AMD indicates growing interest among large chipmakers and data platform companies in enterprise AI software.
“By combining a sovereign and secure approach with seamless model orchestration and rapid deployment of AI agents, Uniphore is helping organisations unlock meaningful business outcomes, while maintaining control of their data and workflows,” said Nvidia vice president Hemant Dhulla.
The company currently works with large enterprises, including KPMG, Konecta, and brands such as Dell, Priceline, and Skechers.
Uniphore was founded in 2008 by Sachdev and Ravi Saraogi. Incubated in IIT Madras, it started as a speech recognition company before moving its headquarters to Palo Alto. It also has offices in New York, Chennai, Bengaluru, Israel, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Dubai.
The latest funding takes the total fundraise by the company to around $990 million.
Uniphore last raised funding in 2022, via a $400 million round led by NEA.
The company has also been active on the acquisition front. In September, it announced the acquisition of Orby AI and said it plans to acquire Autonom8, two AI-native firms expected to enhance the capabilities of its Business AI Cloud platform.
Nvidia, currently the world’s most valuable company, has been ramping up deals and partnerships in the AI and cloud infrastructure space. In September, it announced a plan to invest $100 billion in AI company OpenAI.
Earlier this year, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang unveiled partnerships with Reliance Industries to build AI infrastructure in India, and with the Tata Group to develop AI computing platforms and solutions.
