The victim’s boyfriend and friends confronted him immediately, with one restraining the suspect in a headlock while others demanded he unlock his phone.

A man believed to be a police officer later arrived at the scene and took over the situation.

The video was uploaded to Facebook by the victim’s friend on Sunday, who urged women to stay vigilant and said they later accompanied the suspect to a police station.

She claimed that thousands of upskirt footage were found on his phone, suggesting multiple victims, and warned that her friends may also face legal consequences for using force to access the device.

The post clarified that the intent was not to portray her friends as heroes, but to raise awareness about such incidents, and she identified the suspect as a student from a university in Cyberjaya.
