UPSC Geo Scientist Result 2025 OUT

The Union Public Service Commission, UPSC has released the Combined Geo-Scientist Main Exam 2025 result on its official website upsc.gov.in. A total of 296 candidates have passed the written exam and are now eligible for the interview or personality test.
Out of these:
- 64 candidates have qualified for Geologist Group A
- 135 candidates for Scientist B (Hydrogeology) or Assistant Hydrogeologist
- 69 candidates for Geophysicist or Scientist B (Geophysics) or Assistant Geophysicist
- 28 candidates for Chemist or Scientist B (Chemical) or Assistant Chemist
UPSC said that these results are provisional, which means candidates must prove they meet all eligibility rules. During the interview, they need to show original documents to prove their age, education, category, physical disability status, and EWS status (if applicable).
Document Update Window: July 29 to August 12
Candidates who passed the written test will get 15 days to fill in and update their education details at upsconline.gov.in between July 29 and August 12.
UPSC DAF 2025 – Important Instructions
If a candidate did not have the required educational qualification when applying for the exam, they must upload proof of passing now using the One-Time Registration (OTR) portal. If not, they won’t be allowed to attend the interview and their application will be cancelled.
During this time, candidates can also update:
- Correspondence or postal address
- Higher education qualifications
- Achievements in any field
- Work experience or job details
- Preference for posts, if eligible for more than one
UPSC has said that whatever is updated during this time will be final. No changes will be allowed later through emails or letters. The UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Main Exam 2025 was held on June 21 and 22. This recruitment process aims to fill 85 vacancies in different posts. For more details, one can go to the official website.
