VG Dato fetes Nortehanon science, math wizards

Northern Samar Vice Gov. Clarence E. Dato led the recognition of outstanding Nortehanon kids – SIMSO Gold Medalists Red Karl Ymata, Urielle Lien Diabo and Farrah Claire Giray.

“Impressive students!,” Dato exclaimed, struck by their intelligence and smarts.

The three kids from Northern Samar were honored by the Provincial Government for their outstanding achievements, securing the top posts in international competition Siam International Mathematics and Science Olympics (SIMSO) held in Bangkok,Thailand.

Through SP Resolutions Numbered 500, 501 and 502, the Provincial Government commended these kids for proving perseverance, hard work, discipline and commitment to excellence, deserving distinct recognition.

“The collegial act also perpetuates their legacy as outstanding Nortehanons worthy of emulation by this and the next generations,” the vice governor said.

The SP presented the Resolutions of Commendation during its session yesterday, April 28, to Red Karl N. Ymata from Catarman SPED Center, for bagging the Gold Medal Award in Science V at the Siam International Mathematics and Science Olympics (SIMSO) Final Round; Urielle Lien E. Diabo from Cawayan Integrated School, in Catarman, Gold Medal Awardee, Science II, in the same international competition; and Farrah Claire L. Giray from the Catarman’s Cawayan Integrated School, Gold Medal Awardee, Science VI, also in SIMSO.
