India’s lack of civic sense, increasing pollution, and next to none cleanliness is back in the spotlight- and this time, the competition is against African nations! Taking to social media, a vlogger shared about the delightful experience he had in several African countries. His pleasant trip had a lot to do with how well-maintained most of the cities were. Preaching the same, the man then began to compare everything with India. The vlogger further talked about the stereotypical ways most Indians talk about African nations and their lifestyle- only to then show something different in his videos. The streets and beaches looked tidy, people were hardly honking on busy streets, and dustbins were not only placed in every nook and corner, but they were also being used.
The video went viral in an instant, leaving netizens reacting. Most sided with the man and took a jibe at the ‘Indian mentality’ of ONLY competing with Pakistan, while some shared their own good experience related to Africa.

“Recently I’ve been to Kenya ,Uganda, Tanzania, such a beautiful experience, no honking in traffic, clean roads, civic sense, amazing hospitality. Feels like India is centuries behind African nations,” added another person.
“Even central Asian countries ( former USSR countries) are incredibly cleaner than any India posh area. It’s not about punishment, it’s about culture,” added another. “Progress isn’t beating Pakistan — it’s matching the developed world,” wrote the next.
