The Warner Music Taiwan office in Taipei, designed by Bean Buro, unites a consistent global brand vision with a strong connection to local culture. The design incorporates locally sourced materials, sustainable strategies, and biophilic elements to enhance occupant well-being and environmental performance. Inspired by artist Tilde Grynnerup, the interiors feature bold geometric patterns, dynamic ceilings, and musical graphics. The workplace integrates collaborative zones, a flexible performance platform, private offices, and professional recording facilities. Natural light, acoustic control, and varied spatial layouts support both focused work and creative expression, aligning the project with Warner Music’s international workplace standards.

Bean Buro developed the Warner Music Taiwan office in Taipei’s Xinyi District as part of the company’s broader effort to establish a cohesive design approach across its global locations. Positioned near Taipei 101, the project reflects Taiwan’s cultural character while meeting the operational needs of a modern music-focused workplace. The space was conceived to encourage collaboration among employees and artists, with an emphasis on sustainability achieved through the exclusive use of locally sourced materials, reducing reliance on imports, and supporting regional craftsmanship.

The design draws influence from Danish artist Tilde Grynnerup, translating her energetic visual language into ceiling treatments, flooring compositions, and wall features. A restrained color palette anchors the interiors, while strategic accents introduce energy and movement. Large mirrors extend views of the nearby tree-lined promenade into the office, reinforcing the connection with the outdoors.

A flexible “Playful Platform” forms the social heart of the office, functioning as a performance stage and meeting point. This is supported by optical illusion wall treatments, locally created murals, and a stainless steel kitchen that adds an urban accent. The design adheres to WELL Building Standard principles by maximizing daylight through glazed partitions, integrating acoustic treatments, and incorporating greenery to promote mental well-being. An open ceiling reduces construction material use, while vinyl flooring offers durable, low-maintenance surfaces without harsh chemical cleaning.

The program includes open collaboration areas, enclosed offices, meeting rooms, phone booths, a professional recording studio, an artist lounge, and a multi-function room for informal gatherings. Together, these elements create a balanced environment that supports both concentrated work and the creative energy essential to Warner Music’s operations.
