Watt’s up, India? Schneider Electric wants to make your home smarter than you – Brand Wagon News
Schneider Electric has expanded its home electrical offerings in India, introducing a series of new smart products and launching a marketing campaign aimed at boosting engagement with homeowners, electricians, retailers, architects and homebuilders.
The company’s new integrated campaign, titled “Bring Home the Smart,” positions Schneider Electric’s products as essential to modern, intelligent living. The initiative highlights a cultural shift in Indian households, where homes are increasingly seen as spaces of comfort, care and technology. The campaign features a trio of ad films showcasing the brand’s latest innovations.
As India’s residential segment grows at over 10% CAGR, driven by higher disposable incomes and demand for connected homes, Schneider Electric is doubling down on its focus on innovation, localisation and consumer-centric design. The company views the home category as a significant growth engine.
Among the new product offerings, the Miluz Zeta range introduces what the company claims is an industry-first: an integrated air quality indicator embedded in the switch, designed to help users monitor indoor air quality in real-time. The motion-sensing LED foot lamps enhance nighttime safety by automatically lighting pathways. Meanwhile, the Wiser Smart Home system includes GPS-based appliance control and energy management features to support efficient living.
Mr. Rajat Abbi, Vice President – Marketing, Greater India, Schneider Electric, said “With our new ‘Bring Home the Smart Campaign’, we’re redefining smart living by shifting the narrative from complexity to intuitive comfort — where intelligent technology seamlessly integrates into everyday life, empowering consumers to focus on what truly matters. Through this integrated marketing campaign, our aim is to creatively communicate the differentiated value proposition of our innovative offers to our customers.”
Schneider Electric’s marketing approach goes beyond functional utility, instead focusing on the emotional and lifestyle value of technology. By aligning its global technology with local aspirations, the company aims to strengthen its position in India’s evolving smart home ecosystem.
