When and where to stream Suriya’s action drama in Telugu and Hindi

Retro, the recently released Tamil romantic action drama featuring actor Suriya in the lead role, is all set to make its OTT debut. As reported earlier, Netflix has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film, and will premiere on May 31. You can watch Retro in Hindi and Telugu, besides Tamil with English subtitles.

Retro OTT release date: When and where to watch Suriya’s film in Telugu and Hindi

Actor Suriya, who has played a variety of roles in the past and has a major fan following, recently paired with Petta filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj. Titled Retro, the film hit big screens on May 1 and is a romantic action drama. Pooja Hegde, who has appeared in films like Beast and Ala Vaikunthapurramloo, plays the female lead in the film.

After its theatrical run, the film will begin streaming on Netflix from May 31. Apart from Tamil, you can stream the Ayan actor’s Retro in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam as well. Retro is produced by 2D Entertainment and Stone Bench Studios. Retro marks the first time Suriya collaborated with Karthik Subbaraj and Pooja Hegde.

Retro revolves around the adopted son of a gangster who wants to leave his violent ways behind as he is set to get married to his lover. However, fate does not allow it to happen as he lands up at an island ruled by a cult dictator with an iron fist, who can only be defeated by the protagonist as per a prophecy. The cast includes Joju George, Jayaram, Karunas, Nasser and others. Santhosh Narayanan has scored the music for the film, which was much praised, especially the Kanimma song. Retro opened to mixed reviews upon its release.
