Wick youth football club to host training camp this summer

There will be training from experienced coaches, as well as fun challenges and competitions.

GOAL Academy and BGK Goalkeeping Academy will be bringing a football and goalkeeper camp to Wick this summer in partnership with East End FC.

The camp will run daily from July 14-18, between 9am and 3pm, with full-day and half-day options available, using the Wick-based youth football club’s facilities at Bignold Park.

The camp is open to boys and girls of all abilities and positions, aged six to 16.

Those taking part will receive training from experienced coaches, as well as enjoying fun challenges and competitions designed to develop skills and build confidence.

GOAL Academy and BGK Goalkeeping Academy describe it as “a great opportunity for young players across Caithness to access high-quality coaching locally, while enjoying an active and rewarding football experience during the holidays”.

They hope it can become an annual event.
