Auto News

Yamaha will start offering a 10 year warranty on their Indian made motorcycles and scooters soon. Here is everything you need to know.

Yamaha will not offer 10-year warranty with their motorcycles and scooters.

Yamaha will start offering a 10-year warranty plan for their made in India products. The warranty will be available with the entire range of motorcycles and scooters. this will include a 2-year standard warranty and an 8-year extended warranty. Yamaha will offer the 8-year extended warranty free of cost for a limited period of time.

The warranty will cover engine components, electricals, and fuel injection system. For scooters, like the Ray ZR Fi, Fascino 124, Fi and the Aerox, the warranty will be for 1 lakh kms while if you are choosing any of the motorcycles, the warranty coverage will be for 1.25 lakh kms.

This is a great move from the Japanese brand and will allow their products to be more lucrative in the market and shows how confident the manufacturer is in its products. Yamaha has always been a reliable brand and they have proved to be quite popular here in India with both enthusiasts and the general public.

We do however hope that Yamaha brings in some of its international product portfolio to India as well to cater to the growing demand of premium bike and scooters. They had earlier teased the launch of the R7 and the MT-07 in the Indian market along with the Tenere but those bikes are still a dream for many.
