This initiative follows the company’s commencement of 20-inch tyre manufacturing in India last month.
The programme aims to address the growing demand for larger, high-performance tyres in the Indian market. It offers a six-month, no-cost EMI option on tyres 17 inches and above, with monthly payments starting at Rs 1,807, making premium tyre upgrades accessible through flexible financing.Changing preferences
The offer facilitates the purchase of Yokohama’s premium tyre series, including ADVAN, Geolandar, and BluEarth. These tyres are available at Yokohama Club Network (YCN) stores and key retail partners across the country.
“The premiumisation of India’s passenger car market is reshaping tyre preferences. Over a quarter of new vehicles now come equipped with 17-inch and above tyres, making larger, high-performance tyres essential for better handling, comfort, and safety,” said Gaurav Mahajan, head of marketing at Yokohama India.
The programme’s focus on accessibility aligns with the company’s broader goal of enriching the motoring lifestyle. The six-month no-cost EMI option significantly reduces the upfront financial burden, making premium tyres a more attainable upgrade for a wider range of consumers.
