Since its launch in 2001, Activa sales in India grew from 5 million in 2017 to an additional 5 million in just 7 years, including both 110cc and 125cc models.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) announced a key milestone. The two-wheeler maker and manufacturer of the popular Activa has sold over 10 million units of Activa in southern India. This includes states and union territories like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Puducherry, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Introduced in 2001, the sale of Activa in India has grown over the years. Commenting on this occasion, Yogesh Mathur, Director, Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said, “Achieving the 10 million Activa sales mark in the Southern region is a testament to the trust and loyalty of our customers. It reflects our relentless efforts to continuously keep innovating and provide exceptional value”.
