Dhruvi Patel, Miss India Worldwide 2024 winner
What’s the story
Dhruvi Patel, an Indian-origin engineering student, has been crowned Miss India Worldwide 2024.
The prestigious pageant, which is the longest-running Indian beauty contest outside of India, was held in Edison, New Jersey.
“Winning Miss India Worldwide is such an incredible honor. It’s more than a crown—it represents my heritage, my values, and the opportunity to inspire others on a global scale,” Patel expressed post her victory.
Patel’s academic background and philanthropic work
Patel is currently pursuing Computer Information Systems at Quinnipiac University. She enjoys a following of over 18.6K followers on Instagram.
In 2023, she was crowned Miss India New England.
Apart from her academic pursuits and pageant victories, Patel runs a non-profit organization named 3DCharities from her home.
She also volunteers at a local senior center and participates in food drives and fundraisers for various causes.
Other winners of the pageant
Lisa Abdoelhak from Suriname and Malvika Sharma from the Netherlands were declared as the first and second runners-up, respectively.
In the Mrs. category, SuAnn Mouttet of Trinidad and Tobago won, while Sneha Nambiar and Pawandip Kaur from the United Kingdom secured the first and second runner-up positions.
Sierra Suret from Guadeloupe was crowned Miss Teen India Worldwide, with Shreya Singh (Netherlands) and Shradha Tedjoe (Suriname) as runners-up.
