Redcliffe Labs launch Gut Microbiome, HealthEx tests to promote preventive healthcare, ET HealthWorld

Noida: Redcliffe Labs has launched two specialised tests: Gut Microbiome and HealthEx. The tests are available for Pan India in 220+ cities where the company is operational. In an era where lifestyle and non-communicable diseases are on the rise, these tests are designed to empower individuals with personalised insights, enable them to take control of their health, and prevent potential risks before they arise.

The Gut Microbiome test is a non-invasive and reliable health test that comprehensively analyses gut health. This test recognises that gut microbiota is unique to every person, varying based on gender, geography, eating habits, culture, genetics, and lifestyle. Key findings of the Gut Microbiome test include mapping the function of the immune system, digestive system, hormones, and cognitive functioning. It also identifies obesity-related issues, metabolic health (diabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure, cardiac health), sports performance, auto-immune conditions (rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel diseases, infection susceptibility), dermatology conditions, and mental health. The results can guide you on your journey to holistic health. This test comes with certain benefits such as detailed insights into health with detailed gut flora, propensity to disease development, 12-week complementary nutrition plan with dietary recommendations to restore gut health and personalised counselling with experts to improve gut health.

HealthEx is an advanced blood test that evaluates an individual’s DNA to provide detailed health insights into potential risks one may develop due to current lifestyle, diet, and genetic factors. The benefits of the HealthEx test include personalised recommendations for nutrition modifications, lifestyle changes, fitness care, cardiac health management, skin and hair care, kidney health monitoring, immune system support, vision preservation, sleep quality improvement, cancer risk assessment, digestive health maintenance, allergy management, and reproductive health evaluation.

With health consciousness at an all-time high, both tests are designed to help individuals proactively approach their health. The company provides personalised insights, such as breaking free from a sedentary lifestyle and exercising, such as yoga, walking, and meditation, to help reduce the risk. The reports also include recommendations to include specific nutrients in the diet, including sources rich in particular nutrition.

These tests enable people to make informed decisions about their health. While anyone above six can take the Gut Microbiome Test, HealthEX is available for anyone over 5+ years.

Aditya Kandoi, Founder, CEO, Redcliffe Labs, said, “Our newly launched specialised tests empower individuals with the knowledge to take proactive steps in their health management. We believe that early detection, combined with personalised care, will pave the way for a healthier India.”

Dr Geetanjali Gupta, Director, Technical Operations & Quality Assurance, Redcliffe Labs said, “Specialised lab testing plays a pivotal role in monitoring the vitals, tracking the risk of developing any health disorder, evaluating disease progression and treatment efficacy over time. By consistently monitoring key biomarkers, we enable healthcare providers to optimise treatment plans, ensuring that patients receive the most effective care at every stage of their health journey.”
