Julien Stephan says a potential return for Rayan Kolli has nothing to do with QPR’s injuries.
Kolli has not been selected by head coach Stephan this season but recently returned to action for Rangers’ development side.
And with strikers Rumarn Burrell and Richard Kone out, Kolli could return for Friday’s London derby at West Ham.
But Stephan said: “For me Rayan’s situation is not aligned with the situation of our injuries.
“If we have nine more injuries, if I consider that Rayan doesn’t deserve to be in the group, he will not be in the group. And we can have all the players available and if I consider that Rayan deserves to be on the pitch, he will be on the pitch.”
Speaking to West London Sport, Stephan also talked about the controversy surrounding Glen Kamara’s return from international duty, as well as Justin Obikwu’s fitness and the form of Kealey Adamson.
