Back in 2016, Anant Ambani’s former fitness trainer, Vinod Channa, played a key role in helping the younger millionaire shed 108 kg in 18 months. Beyond guiding Anant throughout his remarkable transformation, Vinod has also helped Nita Ambani and Isha Ambani on their fitness journeys.

However, the surprising thing was when Amitabh Bachchan’s relative once spotted Vinod and then as it says destiny happens, he went ahead to train the Ambanis. In an interview with BollywoodShaadis, the former fitness expert of Anant Ambani shared that he started his journey with bodybuilding, securing many gold medals in various championships. His hard work and dedication paved his journey from town Prabhadevi to Dadar.

Vinod revealed that his luck shifted when Abhishek Bachchan’s cousin spotted him training and guiding his clients. He shared, “Abhishek’s cousin saw me in the gym and approached me and wanted somebody who is good. Ananya Birla then called me. John Abraham’s Ritesh’s body transformation worked, and from there Nita mam came to know, and she wanted somebody for Isha Ambani.”

In an interview, Vinod shared his experience of training Anant Ambani during his impressive transformation. He revealed that his commitment to fitness and weight loss was commendable. Moreover, Vinod shared that he curated a special diet plan for Anant, that included only high-protein, high-fibre and low-carb foods in his everyday meals.

Vinod Channa has become one of India’s top celebrity fitness trainers. Apart from Ambani, his high-profile clientele history includes Kumar Mangalam Birla, Ananya Birla and several Bollywood celebrities, including John Abraham, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Harshvardhan Rane, Vivek Oberoi, and Arjun Rampal. According to a report in DNA, he charges Rs 1.5 lakh for a overall package of 12 training classes.
