Boots shoppers are going mad for the No7 Pro Artist Soft Glow Cream Bronzer, described as a ‘rich, velvety cream bronzer that transforms the complexion with a lightweight formula, for a natural sun-kissed glow’. Ideal for summer, shoppers have said its similar to Chanel’s cult favourite Les Beiges Bronzing Cream, some even claiming it to be “better”.
The product description states: “Expertly formulated to boost and awaken the complexion, this lightweight, velvety formula glides on and blends effortlessly, offering buildable coverage for a customizable bronzed finish. The luxurious, creamy texture melts into the skin for a radiant finish that enhances your natural beauty.”
Usually priced at £19.95, you can currently bag one for £16.96 in the Boots sale, which compares to Chanel’s £48 price tag. However, shoppers can also save on the Les Beige Bronzing Cream down to £40 in the sale, at the time of writing.

The No7 bronzer comes in three shades: light glow, medium glow, and deep glow. On the Boots website, it has earned a 4.6/5 star rating with 165 shoppers leaving their thoughts in the reviews section.
One shopper Eliza wrote: “Can not fault this product, I have had the Chanel bronzer before and I can confirm this is better, much cheaper and more pigmented. I got the colour medium.”
A second shopper added: “Better than Chanel bronzer. Was really pleasantly surprised by this product. Really lovely texture.”

Pippa said: “I saw this on social media that it’s a dupe for the Chanel one and so I bought it when it was 20% off as worth trying. Well wow, I absolutely love it as its buttery light and creamy and ideal for sculpting or bronzing your body. I’ve not bought No7 since my 20’s so very surprised it is so good. I have the lightest one but it gives a great colour on my fair sensitive skin. Easily applied with a brush and I’m using my Kabuki one but fine with a powder brush.”
However, not everyone shares the same opinion, as Lizzie wrote: “This product is not as creamy as I was expecting. Its quite hard to apply smoothly.”
This customer preferred their Chanel bronzer, writing: “I wear the Chanel bronzer and I love it so I thought I’d order the light and the medium in this No7 to try as everyone was saying it’s as good. I disagree, the light is very orange the medium is the same there isn’t a lot of difference it just looks orange on the skin. Not sure if the dark shade would be any better, I wear the Chanel in the darker one and I’m pale but I would say go into the store and look at these, I wish I had before wasting my money.”
You can find both the No7 Pro Artist Soft Glow Cream Bronzer, as well as the Chanel Les Beiges Bronzing Cream in the Boots sale. Elsewhere, Space NK has reduced the Rare Beauty Warm Wishes Effortless Bronzer from £27 to £21.60, which is currently available in six shades.
The retailer is also offering up the Nars Laguna Bronzing Cream at 20% off, now down from £38 to £30.40. This one comes in five shades, inspired by the brand’s best-selling Bronzing Powder.
