From cricket, politics to ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and cricket commentary — Navjot Singh Sidhu has come a long way. Adding another chapter to his life, the former cricketer announced on Wednesday the launch of his YouTube channel ‘Navjot Sidhu Official’. “There’s no instant coffee in life,” said Sidhu as he explained that the objective of his channel is to make a difference in people’s life through stories of his experience and struggles. “Maine zindagi mein bahut ragde khaayi hain (I have had many unpleasant experiences and have struggled in life),” he added.
Congress leader Sidhu walked out of jail in 2023 after spending about 10 months in Patiala’s central prison, in connection with a 1988 road rage case. The former Punjab Congress chief was jailed after being sentenced to one-year rigorous imprisonment by the Supreme Court. His lawyer said that Sidhu’s early release was due to his good conduct during imprisonment, “as allowed under the rules”.

Will Sidhu Share His Weight Loss Diet Plan?
“A lot of people ask him for my weight loss diet chart. I think almost a crore people may have asked how did I lose over 30 kilos. So, this YouTube channel will have different facets of my life,” said Sidhu, adding that he will devote his maximum time to the channel.
The cricketer-turned-politician took to Instagram in January to share that he underwent an incredible weight loss transformation, losing 33 kilograms in less than five months. Sidhu posted a before and after picture of his transformation.
In the caption, he shared how diet, pranayama and long walks helped him to achieve this fitness goal. “Before and after… have lost 33 kilograms in less than five months since August,” he wrote.
Instagram users praised him for his amazing transformation and flooded the comment section of the post with heart and fire emojis.
Sidhu’s ‘fitness goal’ came a year after his ‘health claim’ had sparked a controversy. The former cricketer had made headlines after stating that his wife, Navjot Kaur, overcame Stage 4 breast cancer in just 40 days through a simple dietary and lifestyle regimen.
He claimed that neem leaves, turmeric, apple cider vinegar, lemon vinegar, and intermittent fasting can cure cancer. He further asserted that by depriving the body of food, cancer cells naturally begin to die off.
Sidhu Won’t Talk About Politics?
Sidhu further made it clear that the channel’s content will focus solely on his personal experiences and interests. “This This channel will tell you everything about my life — my journey in cricket, spirituality, health, comedy, lifestyle, and motivation — but not politics,” the former cricketer said in Amritsar.
Responding to questions about his political future, Sidhu said, “Only time will tell. But there will be no political content on my YouTube page. This is something I am doing for my daughter.” He added that his wife remains active in politics and will continue to do so.
