Net FDI inflow to Armenia increased to 0.6% of annual GDP in the first half of the year – World Bank
In H1 2025, net foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows in Armenia rose to 0.6 percent of annual GDP, mainly in mining and aviation, following 2024’s historical low of 0.3 percent of GDP, according to the World Bank’s Armenia Monthly Economic Update – October 2025.
YEREVAN, October 22. /ARКА/. In H1 2025, net foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows in Armenia rose to 0.6 percent of annual GDP, mainly in mining and aviation, following 2024’s historical low of 0.3 percent of GDP, according to the World Bank’s Armenia Monthly Economic Update – October 2025.
According to Armstat, FDI inflows into the real sector of the Armenian economy in the first half of 2025 amounted to 5,031.5 million drams, an increase of 26,950.8 million drams compared to the same period last year. ($1 – 382.51 drams).-0-
