Have you ever wondered how brands can turn influencer marketing into tangible business results? Many still struggle to navigate the rapidly shifting media landscape and understand what it truly means for creators, brands, and the wider industry.
This Thursday, October 29, industry leaders will gather at the Tusker Microbrewery on Thika Road to unpack the evolution under the “Influence has evolved. Be part of what comes next” theme.
“As businesses continue to explore creator-led marketing, the conversation is shifting from how many people a campaign reaches to the value it creates,” Expressions Influencer Agency, the organizer of the event, says in a statement.
It has become extremely hard to challenge traditional approaches to media and influencer marketing, encouraging brands to look beyond reach and visibility towards meaningful engagement, campaign performance and measurable return on investment.
This is due to lack of understanding of how influencer partnerships can connect businesses and brands with the right audiences, strengthen consumer engagement and support wider business objectives.
Expressions Agency says the summit will bring together brand leaders, creators and industry partners to explore how creativity, culture, community, data and technology are reshaping the business of influence.
In order to address these challenges of value creation and all, Expressions targets to create an evolving media environment in which brands are increasingly looking for strategic creator partnerships and measurable marketing outcomes.
“Businesses continue to explore creator-led marketing, the conversation is shifting from how many people a campaign reaches to the value it creates. Brands want to understand how influencer partnerships can connect them with the right audiences, strengthen consumer engagement and support wider business objectives,” it says.
The growth of creator-led marketing has implications beyond the creators themselves. It connects a broader ecosystem of photographers, videographers, editors, creative strategists, talent managers and digital marketing professionals.
The summit will provide a platform to examine how brands and creators can build stronger partnerships, how content can contribute to commercial objectives, and how creativity and performance measurement can work together.
“The Media Shift: Kenya – Live will address these priorities through discussions on extracting real value from influencer spending, designing campaigns that outperform benchmarks, and developing creators into performance partners,” Expressions Agency says.
The programme will also explore how modern platforms can amplify campaign results and how data and technology can help marketers make better-informed decisions.
There will also be an innovative launch of a new tool for Kenyan marketers, bringing a technology dimension to the discussion on the future of media and influencer marketing. Further details will be shared by the organisers.
The speaker line-up includes Murray Legg, Co-Founder of Webfluential, with more than 10 years of experience in influencer marketing; Albert Makoeng, CEO of Nfinity Influencer, with over 15 years of media experience; and David Boon, CEO of Expressions Influencer Agency, with 26 years of experience in consumer engagement.
The speakers will contribute perspectives on the changing African media landscape, effective influencer campaign design and the opportunities for brands and creators to build partnerships focused on business impact.
The Media Shift: Kenya – Live aims to bring the industry together to explore what comes next for media, influence and the relationship between creative storytelling and measurable performance.
