Tata Motors has announced a strong performance during the festive period, selling over 1 lakh vehicles across its dealerships from Navratri to Diwali. This marks a strong 33% growth compared to the same period last year, driven primarily by its popular SUV lineup and growing demand for electric vehicles.

According to the company, SUVs were the main growth drivers this festive season. The Nexon, which was India’s best-selling car in September 2025, led the charge with 38,000 units retailed, translating to a remarkable 73% year-on-year increase. The Punch, another strong performer in Tata’s SUV range, recorded 32,000 unit sales, growing 29% YoY. Together, these models accounted for a major share of Tata’s festive deliveries.The company’s electric vehicle portfolio also showed significant momentum, with over 10,000 EVs sold during the 30-day festive window: a 37% growth over last year.

Commenting on the achievement, Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director and CEO of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd., said, “Over the 30-day period from Navratri to Diwali, we achieved a landmark milestone with over 1 lakh vehicle deliveries, reflecting a robust 33% growth.
