Stree 2 sees 100% growth on 7th Saturday

Stree 2 continues to perform at the Box Office. The movie, which earned Rs. 0.9 crores on 7th Friday, according to Sacnilk, has now minted Rs. 2 crores on 7th Saturday.

Stree 2 had earned more than half of its total collection so far in the first week itself. The movie earned Rs. 291.65 crores in week 1, Rs. 141.4 crores in week 2, Rs. 70.2 crores in week 3, Rs. 36.1 crores in week 4, Rs. 24.65 crores in week 5, and Rs. 18.6 crores in week 6. This takes the total net collection of the movie to Rs. 585.50 crores. While Stree 2 has seen an obvious downfall over the weeks, it is not drastic, and thus, the film, also featuring Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan in cameo appearances, has held on.

Stree 2 holds up despite Devara craze; its own OTT release does not affect BO

Stree 2 released on OTT this week. The film is up for renting, but that has not stopped people from going to theatres and watching the movie. Stree 2 continues to earn and has seen a considerable growth despite it releasing over a month ago.

Right now, the craze for Jr. NTR’s Devara is also at the peak. From spilling goat blood to celebrations inside theatres, the movie saw the second biggest opening after Stree 2, and by the second day, it has already zoomed past Rs. 200 crore club. Stree 2 holding up despite that is commendable, to say the least.
