How our stories are produced

Most stories on Pune Media are automatically curated from other publishers’ coverage. Software collects articles from Google News feeds on each section’s topics, an automated step removes clutter, and the stories are published on a schedule. Every article credits and links to the original publisher. AI rewriting is not used today. If AI assistance is used in future, the article’s Editorial Disclosure will say so. Editorial

For comments on our coverage, suggestions for topics we should follow, or questions about how a story was selected, write to the Editor.

Bylines such as Tech Desk, Finance Desk, Geopolitics Desk, Science Desk, Culture Desk, Entertainment Desk, Lifestyle Desk, Travel Desk, Mobility Desk, Consumer Desk and Work Desk are desk accounts, not individual reporters. To ask about an article published under any desk byline, write to [email protected].

Advertising and partnerships

Pune Media will be funded by advertising and by clearly labelled sponsored content. Advertising spaces on the site are being prepared now. To discuss advertising, sponsorship or a partnership, write to [email protected] and put “Advertising” in the subject line.

Sponsored content will always be labelled, with labels such as “Sponsored” or “Advertisement” placed near or above the headline in line with FTC guidance, and kept separate from our editorial coverage.

Corrections and takedown requests

If you believe an article contains an error, or should be removed, write to [email protected] and put “Correction” in the subject line. Please include:

  • the link to the article
  • the specific statement you believe is wrong
  • the correct information, with a source where possible

We review correction and takedown requests promptly. Where we find an error, we correct or remove it, and significant corrections are noted on the article itself. Our corrections standard is set out in the Corrections section of our Editorial Policy.

Copyright and content notices

Every article on Pune Media links prominently to the original publisher under “Original Coverage & Source Attribution”. Each article also carries an Editorial Disclosure stating that it is curated from the credited publisher’s reporting, published automatically under our Editorial Policy, and is not original Pune Media reporting.
