This page explains what Pune Media covers, how our articles are produced, how we use automation, how we handle advertising, corrections and copyright, and who owns and runs the publication. We publish it so that readers, search and news platforms, and advertisers can see how we work.

Our aim is to combat information overload and deliver essential updates without encroaching on our readers’ personal space or quality time. We do this by setting up topic-based feeds for each section and presenting coverage from publishers around the world, with clear credit to the original source. The automated checks we use are described below.
What we cover
Pune Media is a global news publication. “Pune” is our brand name, in the same way “New York” is part of the name of The New York Times. It does not limit our coverage to one city or one country.

How our content is produced
Sourcing
Stories are sourced automatically from Google News search feeds on the topics each section covers. The publishers we carry are the ones that appear in those feeds. Pune Media curates coverage from publishers around the world. It does not present that coverage as its own original reporting.
Pune Media is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. Crediting and linking an original publisher does not mean that the publisher is affiliated with or endorses Pune Media.
Processing and publishing
Software fetches articles from those feeds. An automated cleaning step then removes page clutter such as share buttons, menus and broken images. Desk accounts publish the articles on a schedule.
Two automatic checks run before publication:
- Articles without a featured image or without body content are held back and not published.
- Articles whose headline matches one we have already carried are skipped.
Editorial Disclosure and source attribution
Every article carries two visible elements:
- An Editorial Disclosure card. It states that the article is curated from reporting by the credited original publisher, that it was selected and published automatically under this policy, and that it is not original Pune Media reporting.
- Original Coverage & Source Attribution. A prominent link credits the original publisher and takes readers to the original story.
Articles are published automatically and are not individually reviewed or fact-checked by an editor before publication. The original publisher, credited and linked on every article, remains the primary source for the reporting.
Our desks
Articles are published under desk bylines. A desk byline is an account used by our automated publishing system. It does not represent a separate staffed team and does not name an individual reporter. Desks do not map one-to-one to sections, so a desk may publish into more than one section. Our desks are:

Editor
James Bayas is Pune Media’s Editor of record. His interests include geopolitics, OSINT, finance, faith, history and culture. He is a US DoD ATL1-certified technology executive with more than 30 years of experience in sovereign infrastructure, cybersecurity, web3 and cross-border remittance. AI and automation disclosure
We use automation for fetching, cleaning, pre-publication checks and scheduled publishing:
- Fetching: software collects articles from Google News search feeds.
- Cleaning: an automated step removes page clutter and broken elements.
- Pre-publication checks: articles without a featured image or content are held back, and duplicate headlines are skipped.
- Scheduled publishing: desk accounts publish articles at set times.
AI rewriting is not currently enabled. We do not currently use AI to rewrite or generate the text or headlines of our articles. If we use AI assistance in the future, the Editorial Disclosure card on each affected article will say so.
Independence and conflicts of interest
Articles are selected according to the topics each section covers. Advertisers and sponsors do not influence which non-sponsored articles we publish. Paid placements will appear only as clearly labelled sponsored content, kept separate from editorial coverage.
For transparency, we disclose that our Editor, James Bayas, is the founder of Aanika Infinite LLC, the company Pune Media is affiliated with and is in the process of becoming part of.
Advertising and sponsored content
Pune Media will be funded by advertising, including Google AdSense, and by clearly labelled sponsored content. For now, advertising spaces on the site show placeholders.
We will follow US Federal Trade Commission guidance on advertising disclosure:
- Sponsored content will be clearly labelled with words such as Sponsored or Advertisement, placed near or above the headline.
- Advertising and sponsored content will be kept separate from editorial content.
Corrections and updates
We want our pages to be accurate. If you find an error, please email [email protected] with:
- the link to the article
- what you believe is wrong
- any supporting source, if you have one
We review every request promptly. When we find an error, we correct the article or remove it. Significant corrections are noted on the article so readers can see what changed.
Copyright, attribution and takedown requests
We respect the work of the publishers we curate. Every article credits and links to its original publisher.

Affiliation, ownership and funding
Pune Media is a United States news portal and mobile application affiliated with Aanika Infinite LLC, a Montana limited liability company, and is in the process of becoming part of Aanika Infinite LLC. The company’s business address is 1001 S. Main St. STE 500, Kalispell, MT 59901, United States. Until that process is complete, Aanika Infinite LLC handles Pune Media’s operations under the laws of the State of Montana.
Pune Media will be funded by advertising and clearly labelled sponsored content, as described above.
