BROMSGROVE SCHOOL UK EST. ITS SIXTH BRANCH IN PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA

BANGKOK, THAILAND – 14 SEPTEMBER, 2024: In a significant milestone in the education sector, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony was held today in Bangkok, Thailand, between Bromsgrove School UK, established in 1553, and Cambodian partners to open a new international school in Phnom Penh.

The new school, to be named Bromsgrove International School Cambodia (BISC), is set to open its doors in the academic year 2025-2026. The school will be a modern, eco-friendly institution with spacious playgrounds and fully equipped facilities. The school will offer a world-class education to students from kindergarten to IB and A-level. What sets BISC apart is its management team from the UK, which will ensure that not only the curriculum but also the teaching staff and support team are of international standards.

The MOU signing ceremony was attended by Oknha Dr. Sambath KEO and Dr. Vichet SOK, representing the Cambodian team, and Ms. Rachel Scannell from Bromsgrove UK School.

“We are thrilled to be expanding our presence in Cambodia as our sixth branch after we have two in UK, two in Bangkok Thailand and one in Shenzhen China, and bringing our rich history of educational excellence to this vibrant country,” said Ms. Rachel Scannell, representative of Bromsgrove UK School. “We believe that BISC will provide a unique and enriching educational experience for students, preparing them for success in an increasingly globalized world.”
