Netherlands regulatory agencies agrees division of duties under new cybersecurity law

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), digital infrastructure agency RDI and three other regulatory bodies in the Netherlands have agreed their responsibilities for enforcing the new Cybersecurity Act. This law in effect since August implements the latest EU cybersecurity legislation, including the NIS2 directive on security obligations for critical service providers. The NCSC will manage the register of critical entities, and they must report incidents to the NCSC or their respective sector CSIRT.
