Having neighbors you hate is one thing, but having neighbors who don’t like you is somehow even worse. One woman on TikTok, Blair, shared in a video that she is dealing with the latter. She explains that one neighbor seems to have beef with her, and that she seems to be the only person the neighbor doesn’t like.
Blair says in her video that a neighbor has been snarky, ignored her, and been downright and unavoidably rude to her. Somehow, Blair is still not totally sure where she stands with the neighbor. But when she posted the video, users commented to share their thoughts, and they’re all Team Blair.
A woman shared details about her rude neighbor on social media.

Blair explains in her video that the neighbor across the street from her home “has been really weird” towards her. She then says that, often, when the neighbor is rude to her it’s when she’s alone, so not everyone in her family has even witnessed the behavior. According to Blair, the neighbor adores her husband, so it might be hard for him to believe the neighbor is rude to Blair.
“So she loves my husband,” Blair says in the video. “Everyone loves my husband. He’s so nice. He’s so neighborly and friendly and will help you and do everything for you, take your trash cans and blah blah. So just like recently, she won’t, like, wave back to me and I’m like, OK, like whatever. It’s not that big a deal, or I’ll be like ‘hi’ and, like, yell it across the street and she won’t say anything back, and I’m like OK maybe she can’t hear me. You know what I mean? Like, there’s reasonable explanations, not just her not liking me.”
But a story she tells about the woman “accidentally” mistaking Blair for her child on a bike really got to her. The neighbor made multiple comments about Blair’s weight, first saying that she thought Blair was her son on her son’s bike, but larger. And then, per Blair, the neighbor said she “feels bad” for the tires on her son’s bike while she is on it. There really is no other way to see it.
Some people questioned if the neighbor has a crush on her husband.
Because Blair says the neighbor is friendly to her husband, some people suggested in the comments that maybe the neighbor is so rude to Blair because she has a crush on Blair’s husband. If that’s the case, then it makes sense for Blair’s husband not to understand her claims about the neighbor.
“You answered your question when you said, ‘she loves my husband,’” one TikTok user commented.
Another wrote, “Does she have a crush on your hubby?”
Someone also advised, “Don’t let your husband be nice to her. That’s your man. If she’s being weird to you, then she doesn’t get to be cool with him. Not selfish. Respect!”
Mostly, though, people agree that it isn’t just in Blair’s imagination.
“Seems like she likes your husband and is jealous of your life and positive attitude so she’s putting you down to try and make you feel bad about yourself,” someone wrote in the comments.
“She’s jealous of you,” a user also wrote. “Trying to make you feel self-conscious. Tell your hubby to tone it down with the female neighbors.”
She admitted that she hasn’t seen the neighbor a lot since the video was posted.

Unfortunately, there is no solid review right now about Blair’s neighbor. In a follow-up video, though, Blair says she doesn’t think there are feelings there for her husband, or that the neighbor is experiencing dementia and, therefore, acts coldly or rude towards her. But that hasn’t stopped people from speculating about the strange neighbor who seems to have it out for Blair.
And, one person commented, “Unfortunately, sometimes people are just bitter and grumpy. Could even be that she’s insecure about her own body and new boyfriend and now sees you as a threat. We can guess what her intentions are until the cows come home.”
