The US Soccer governing body has secured a 37% year-on-year revenue increase during the 2025 financial year.

In its recently published annual financial report, the federation revealed it generated $263.7 million worth of income across 2025, the highest such figure in eight years.

US Soccer is currently gearing up for the men’s 2026 FIFA World Cup, of which a majority of the 104 games will take place in the US (while the others will be split between Mexico and Canada).

Net profit, meanwhile, decreased year-on-year (YoY) from $9.1 million to $8.3 million, with the US Soccer fiscal year running between April 1 and March 31.

Commercially, the US Soccer sponsorship income rose by 19% YoY, to $121.1 million, as deals were struck with brands such as Bank of America, Henkel, The Home Depot, and Jim Beam.

The only year in which US Soccer brought in more revenue than during this year was 2017, when it generated $290.1 million – significantly assisted by the US hosting the 2016 centennial edition of the Copa America national teams tournament.

The earnings from the FIFA World Cup will be disclosed in the annual report for the 2027 financial year, while next year’s report will include new sponsorship tie-ups with brands including the likes of Kellanova, American Airlines, and Chobani.

The Kellanova deal was unveiled in early August, with that brand becoming US Soccer’s official snack.

Total assets recorded for the 2025 fiscal year, meanwhile, amounted to $459 million, significantly up from the figure of $192 million recorded in 2024.

The governing body is currently working to build a new training centre in Fayetteville, Georgia, and in order to fund that project has issued $200 million worth of debt.
