The Swedish actor wore a purple and green plaid skirt with pleating, a checkered pattern, leather belt and hardware hooks holding the fabric up. The statement piece, designed by the London-based fashion label, added some fun to the red carpet, and was further amplified by Skarsgård’s playful shirt.
Skarsgård wore a long-sleeve black shirt embellished with gemstones. At the center of the shirt, Skarsgård had a still from “Wicker” featuring his costar Olivia Colman embossed onto the fabric and framed by those same black gemstones.
Skarsgård’s look was curated by stylist Harry Lambert, who also collaborates with Grammy Award-winning singer Harry Styles and “The Crown” alum Emma Corrin, among others. Throughout the “Wicker” promotional tour, Lambert and Skarsgård have worked in tandem to emphasize fun and quirky style on the red carpet.

Ahead of the “Wicker” Los Angeles premiere, Skarsgård hit the BFI London Film Festival 2026 red carpet with his costars for the film’s debut across the pond. There, the actor wore a pair of translucent lace-up dress shoes from Saint Laurent’s spring 2027 men’s runway, which he paired with a gilded gold suit.

Skarsgård’s 2026 red carpets have been defined by some provocative fashion moments, a signature of the actor’s playful persona. Before hitting the promotional run for “Wicker,” Skarsgård was busy doing press for the Charli XCX film “The Moment.”
The actor hit the 2026 Sundance Film Festival in chilly Park City, Utah in January, at which he forewent snow boots for a pair of Valentino’s black leather sandals with signature pyramid Rockstuds embellishing on the thong straps.

Based on the short story by Ursula Wills, “Wicker” follows an ostracized fisherwoman, played by Colman, who commissions a basketmaker to create her a husband, played by Skarsgård. Once the wicker creation proves far more extraordinary, discord and jealousy upset the fisherwoman’s quiet village. The film hits theaters Oct. 30.
