Prayers have announced the postponement of several upcoming November tour dates until 2027, citing unforeseen circumstances. Darkwave duo Hallows, who were scheduled to join the tour, have also issued a statement addressing the cancellations.
In a message shared on social media, Prayers explained that the decision was difficult but confirmed that several previously announced performances will still take place.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, my team and I have made the tough choice to postpone some of my upcoming tour dates until 2027,” the statement reads. “I truly apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. This decision wasn’t easy, and it weighs heavily on my heart.”
Prayers confirmed that the scheduled shows in Las Vegas, San Diego and Fresno, along with an appearance at Darker Waves Festival, will proceed as planned.
The statement also mentioned that new music is in the works, though no release details were provided.
Hallows subsequently addressed the situation, confirming that most of their November tour with Prayers had been canceled.
“We were all so excited to come out and play for you, and it is genuinely gutting that it will not happen this time around,” the duo wrote.
Hallows explained that they had considered independently rebooking the affected dates but were unable to make the arrangements work within the available timeframe.
“Rest assured, we do want to come back and play these cities for you. We even looked into rebooking the dates independently, but the timeline just does not make it feasible right now.”
The duo also noted that many expenses incurred while preparing for the tour are nonrefundable and encouraged fans who wish to support the bands to consider purchasing merchandise.
“We will be back. We promise,” Hallows concluded.
Neither act has announced a complete revised tour schedule or replacement dates for the affected performances.
