“Renewable energy in India is moving beyond adding capacity. The real work now is in how efficiently power is converted, stored and controlled, and that is exactly where our R&D team under Dr Manoj Pandey has focused its efforts. Every product we bring to Bharat Mandapam has been designed and developed in-house. Our aim is to show the industry what Indian engineering can deliver for the clean energy transition, and to listen closely to what our customers need next,” said Amit Jain, Founder & CEO of Arihant Electricals. Visitors can meet the Arihant Electricals team at Hall No. 5, Stall No. N-65, Bharat Mandapam, from 3 to 5 November 2026. More details on the summit are available at bresummit.in.
Three global events under one roof
The Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo (BRE Summit & Expo) 2026 is organised by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, and builds on the legacy of the RE-Invest platform. For the first time, three major renewable energy events are being held together: the BRE Summit & Expo, the 9th Session of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) Assembly and the 4th International Conference on Green Hydrogen.
According to the organisers, the event expects participation from more than 75 countries, over 400 exhibitors, more than 50 sessions and around 50,000 participants. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the summit on 2 November, and general visitor entry to the expo will be open from 3 to 5 November.
Announcing the event at its curtain raiser in July, Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy Shri Pralhad Joshi said the summit would give governments, industry, investors, innovators and international partners a common platform to accelerate investment, technology partnerships and collaboration in clean energy. Topics on the agenda include battery energy storage systems, floating solar, agrivoltaics and the National Green Hydrogen Mission. For exhibitors, the expo offers direct access to decision makers across the renewable energy value chain, from policymakers and investors to researchers and international organisations. The summit will also recognise the winners of the Bharat Renewable Energy Hackathon 2026 and host the grand finale of the National Renewable Energy Quiz 2026.
