Bitcoin updates its all-time high amid US presidential election – Business & Economy

MOSCOW, November 6. /TASS/. The bitcoin gained 10.1% to reach its all-time high value of $75,000 amid the US presidential election, but slowed down its growth in the early hours of Wednesday, the Binance trading platform reported.

The record was set at 6:08 a.m. Moscow time (3:08 a.m. GMT).

As of 6:38 a.m. Moscow time (3:38 a.m. GMT), the bitcoin traded at $74.267 (+9.16%).

The previous record of $73,777 was set on March 14, 2024.

Bitcoin is a decentralized system of a crypto currency of the same name based on the blockchain technology, which can be mined by any user – system participants. The concept was published in November 2008 by its author (possibly a group of authors) under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. Bitcoin has only reached its peak popularity in recent years. Bitcoin emission is naturally limited, and most bitcoins have already been “mined”.
