We need everyone’s signature if we want to change the conversation and send a message.

Hybrid work benefits all workers, employers, and Albertans through improved recruitment and retention, reduced operating costs, better work-life balance, and support for local economies.

Our petition calls on the Government of Alberta to implement a fair and flexible hybrid work policy (working from home an average of two days per week) for AUPE members and other staff. Decisionmakers at the Alberta Legislature must hear directly from workers to understand that this issue is a priority.

Sign the petition in person and email your MLA to share why hybrid work matters to you and your community. You can email your MLA here: www.aupe.org/goa-hybrid-works.

Who can sign?

All Alberta residents who support fair and flexible hybrid work can and should sign! Every signature helps support modern, flexible workplace options throughout the province.

How to sign?

Volunteers will be out across multiple cities throughout October to collect physical signatures and speak with members and the public. Look for their AUPE lanyards, clipboards, and (depending on availability) hybrid work stickers.
