They look straight out of a storybook!
Celebrities on Oct. 17 attended the Academy Museum Gala, a benefit that raised funds for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles. While the night included several standout moments — including a performance by superstar Taylor Swift — one of the major highlights was the red carpet, where actors, filmmakers and more strutted their best stuff.
The benefit, which is in its sixth year, is part of the museum’s efforts to “celebrate and preserve cinema,” according to a press release about the event. The gala, co-chaired by Tom Ford, Robert Rodriguez, Steven Spielberg, and Kate Capshaw, boasted attendees including the likes of Kim Kardashian, Demi Moore, Janelle Monae and many others.
From stunning, pearly gowns to striking velvet tuxedos, the star-studded event had no shortage of dreamy looks.
Check out some of the night’s most dazzling ensembles.
Taylor Swift
The “Patient Zero” songstress not only performed her “Toy Story 5” song, “I Knew It, I Know You,” at the event, but she also stunned — in a gray-blue floor-length custom Dior gown. She tied the look together with a pair of dangling, diamond earrings.
Demi Moore

Actor Demi Moore rocked the red carpet in a long, black and pale purple gown by fashion house Standing Ground. The look, styled by Brad Goreski, was completed with a classic updo.

Janelle Monae

Singer and actor Janelle Monae arrived in one of the most artistic ensembles of the night. Monae wore a sequined deep purple-and-black ombré gown, complete with a massive butterfly accent by designer Robert Wun. Her matching sheer gloves added an extra special accent to the look.

“Heated Rivalry” star Connor Storrie stunned in a long, black Saint Laurent coat and slacks. The look was tied together with a black, satin scarf and two pairs of small hoop earrings.
Camila Cabello

Singer Camila Cabello strutted her stuff in a tight, black corset that was paired with mesh skirt from Dolce & Gabbana’s 1998 Spring collection. The romantic look was tied together with a dreamy bun and long, flowing scarf that trailed behind her.
