Prince William is a big guy and, at 6-foot-3, often is the largest person in a room.
When Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour stopped in London in 2024, the Prince of Wales wanted a photo with his kids and the world-famous singer. But William didn’t want anyone else in the picture so he tried blocking out Swift’s boyfriend at the time.
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
But Kelce made it in the shot as he and Swift became Instagram Official in that June 2024 picture with Prince William and two of his children: Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
During a visit on “The Graham Norton Show,” the Prince of Wales talked about that photo. He had been unaware that it was the first time the couple shared a picture of themselves together on social media.
“I hadn’t appreciated the significance,” William said on the show, “and actually — I was trying to move him out of the photo.”
That him in question was Kelce, who is 6-5 and 230 pounds.
“Travis kept coming back in, and I couldn’t work out why he kept coming back in,” Prince William said. “I was trying to move him out so it was just me and Taylor and the children.”
The prince didn’t have any luck in blocking Kelce, which comes as little surprise given the Chiefs star knows how to avoid defensive players.
