Residents at Ashley House Bupa Care Home in Trafalgar Road enjoyed a visit from animal therapy provider Dinky Ponies, meeting Poppy the pony.

For 96-year-old Norah Bennett, the experience was especially meaningful, with Norah forming an instant bond with Poppy and the visit bringing back fond memories and moments of pure joy.
Moved by their connection, Poppy’s owner, Sarah Woodland, gifted Norah a miniature Poppy teddy to remember the visit.
