YouTuber Kagwang has been embroiled in allegations that he abused and financially exploited a woman who appeared with him on a Thai travel broadcast.
Recently, some of the posts and broadcast videos were shared on online communities and social media titled, “We file a complaint against Kagwang, a YouTuber who abused and stole women suspected of having leg surgery and intellectual disabilities.”
Author A, who introduced himself as a lawyer helping the woman, claimed that Kagwang and some broadcasters had insulted and abused women for months in the name of broadcasting. A explained that the woman appeared on the show as a fan of Kagwang and was recovering after artificial hip surgery.

She threatened women when they ate mangoes because they couldn’t resist hunger, and raised suspicions that she wouldn’t go home even though she expressed her intention to go home. The post was also accompanied by a video explaining that it was a scene of crutches damage, sleep disturbance, and forced drinking.
Suspicions of money exploitation were also raised. Mr. A claimed that he received more than 10 million won each from women in the name of broadcast appearances and donations. He also added that he pressured women and prevented them from claiming damages based on the contract.
According to A, the woman asked for help on the evening of the 21st, and requested emergency protection from the Korean Embassy in Thailand. A explained that the embassy protected the woman separately from other broadcasters on the morning of the 22nd, and said it would sue those involved on charges of abuse, coercion, imprisonment, and assault injury after returning home.
However, the embassy’s specific measures and whether the complaint was received were not confirmed separately. The intellectual disability of women mentioned in the post is also the author’s presumption, not the fact that the diagnosis has been confirmed.
