As the popularity of peptides continues to surge, Phases, a new telehealth platform by a Los Angeles-based husband-and-wife team, launches Tuesday.
For its take on the market, chief executive officer Lana Elie-Meyers and chief operating officer Joseph Elie-Meyers wanted Phases to focus on women’s evolving needs, from postpartum and perimenopause to menopause and beyond.
Lana Elie-Meyers, who previously founded floral marketplace Floom, which was acquired in 2025 by BloomNation, was inspired by her own postpartum health journey when she began exploring peptides after struggling with anxiety, eczema and brain fog. She recognized a gap in the market for women-focused care.
“I did find that once I finally took the jump, I had such incredible ROI. I’m also a healthy person. I’m pretty clean living. I exercise. I eat healthy. So we believe these are additive to a healthy lifestyle. We don’t sit in the position of these are miracle drugs that you can do nothing else in your life and see results from,” she said. “Through that experience, I just found that there was a gap in the market of everyone launching peptide options, but nothing felt unique to the female body. When I say the female body, it isn’t just that we go through such hormonal phases; it’s also that we have IBS, we have endometriosis, we have PCOS.”
Meanwhile, Joseph Elie-Meyers, a former civil rights litigator, has used his legal experience to navigate the regulatory landscape.
“One of the most important changes that we’ve seen is that the [Food and Drug Administration] moved from the approach of just barring a lot of these peptides that are becoming increasingly popular to focusing on channeling them through safe prescription channels,” he said.

At launch, Phases will offer nine treatment options starting at $145 a month, spanning metabolism, energy, recovery and sexual wellness. Some are injectables, while others are nasal sprays. The offering includes tirzepatide with glycine or B12 (weekly injection, from $275 a month), sermorelin, MIC with B12, NAD+, glutathione, PT-141, and oxytocin.
Phases is designed to simplify access to these treatments through an online medical intake, physician review and, when prescribed, fulfillment through partner 503(a) compounding pharmacies. Patients also have access to medical guidance and direct communication with their physicians.
Last week, U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made moves to ease restrictions on pharmacies and physicians to compound six peptides including BPC-157 and TB-500 that have been popularized by influencers despite lacking FDA approval. The others are epitalon, KPV, MOTS-c and Semax.
