After posting a series of teases throughout the week, Aerosmith have officially announced their live return at Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California.

The two ‘California, Dream On: Aerosmith & Friends’ shows take place on Thursday 29th October and Sunday 1st November 2026, and they feature a stacked line-up of huge names from across the rock world.

Sharing the stage with Aerosmith are The Black Crowes, Heart, Run DMC, Andrew Watt, Billy Idol, Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers),Duff Mckagan (Guns N’ Roses),Eric Church, Jerry Cantrell (Alice In Chains),Marcus King, Mike Inez (Alice In Chains),Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme),Pat Monahan (Train),Sammy Hagar, Slash (Guns N’ Roses),Steve Stevens, Sully Erna (Godsmack),Tom Morello, Adam Wakeman, Audley Freed and Kenny Aronoff.

Don Was is serving as musical director for the shows, and even more artists, special guests, and surprise appearances will be announced in the weeks ahead, promising unforgettable collaborations and unexpected moments across both nights.

The roster will vary each night and final nightly line-ups will be announced at or near showtime and are subject to change.

According to the official Ross Halfin press photo for the concerts, Aerosmith’s band line-up features the return of drummer Joey Kramer, who hasn’t performed with the band since the start of the Deuces Are Wild residency in Las Vegas in early 2020.

John Douglas played with the band for the remainder of the Deuces Are Wild shows in 2022 and all three concerts on the ill-fated Peace Out: The Farewell Tour.

In early 2020, Joey Kramer sued Aerosmith for allegedly excluding him from returning for to the band for their performances at the MusiCares Person of the Year award and the Grammys main event two days later.

Kramer, who had been out of action due to a shoulder injury in 2019, claimed he was asked to audition for his “own job” and said the legal action was about being “deprived of the opportunity to be recognized along with my peers, for our collective, lifetime contributions to the music industry.”

A judge in Massachusetts threw out the case, saying: “Given that Kramer has not played with the band in six months and the dearth of available rehearsal time before the upcoming performances, Kramer has not shown a realistic alternative course of action sufficient to protect the band’s business interests.”

Aerosmith’s last concert took place at UBS Arena in Elmont, New Jersey on 9th September 2023.

In August 2024, Aerosmith made the “heartbreaking decision” to “retire from the touring stage” due to frontman Steven Tyler’s fractured larynx. All postponed dates on their North American tour were cancelled.

Tickets to Aerosmith & Friends go on sale at 10am (local time) on Saturday 10th October.
